For the families and friends of those who have died by violence.
 
                      Parents Of Murdered Children is a self-help support group that provides support and assistance
                      to all survivors of homicide victims while working to create a world free of murder.
 
POMC makes the difference through on-going emotional support, education, prevention, advocacy, and awareness.

Secretary for the Queens chapter of POMC.
 
 
Maria Minichiello is a survivor of a double tragedy.
 
                                        In 2003, her husband Anthony took his own life after suffering a long battle
                                        of multiple illnesses. He was 53 years old and the loving father of 4 children.

                                Maria suffered a second tragedy on February 16, 2005 when her 23 year old son
                                Salvatore "Sallyboy" Minichiello became the victim of a senseless homicide as he
                                walked to a Laundromat a few blocks from his home in Richmond Hill, NY.

                                To cope with her lost, Maria has joined Parents Of Murdered Children, Inc., a
                                non-profit National Organization that offers support for survivors of murdered children.
 
                                           Maria has extended her invitation to everyone who knew her
                                           husband & son and would like to support this worthy organization.
 
                                                    This event will be in memory of Anthony and Salvatore
                                                    Minichiello along with other members of POMC.
